David Boswell Jackson Chapel Manager - Funeral Director info@askewfs.com

David Hundley Boswell has been in the funeral service industry for over 19 years, having served the past 8 years in the Roanoke Rapids area. I moved to the Valley from my home town, South Hill, Virginia, February of 2010 and began work with Askew Funeral Service in Roanoke Rapids December 2017 and also manage our facility in Jackson, North Carolina. After attending East Carolina University for many years, I ultimately graduated from North Carolina State University and spent years in the golf course industry as an assistant superintendent having worked in Raleigh, Pinehurst and Greenville, South Carolina. After moving back to Virginia, I felt I was called to the funeral industry and later enrolled and earned my Associate’s degree in Funeral Service from Fayetteville Technical Community College in Fayetteville, North Carolina. I am licensed in both North Carolina and Virginia. I have always been taught that while on this earth, we should help and take care of one another, and being able to guide a family through a journey that is difficult during the loss of a loved one, is an honor and privilege. I live in Roanoke Rapids with my wife, Jennifer; daughter, Cora; my father, Bobby and my four legged buddy, Jack.
