Winnie Rae Taylor Davis, 85 of Jackson, NC passed away on Sunday, April 17, 2022. She was born in Northampton County, NC to the late, John Lewis Taylor and Gertrude Davis Taylor and was preceded in death by her husband Mackiray Davis; her daughter, Sheila Rae Davis; her brother, Lewis Fleet Taylor; her sisters, Martha Griffith, Ida Mae Allen and Ethel Wheeler. Winnie loved people and was a member of Galatia Baptist Church. She is survived by her daughter, Lisa Little and husband Billy Joe of Conway, NC, sister Delores Hoggard and her husband Thomas of Lewiston, NC, and Camillia Cannon of Seaboard, NC; her sister-in-law, Joyce Taylor of Seaboard, NC her grandchildren, Christina Little of Smithfield, VA, Crystal Anderson and husband Stewart of Conway, NC, and Benjamin Little and wife Robin of Jackson, NC; her six great grandchildren, Aaron "AJ" Strickland, Gracy Strickland, Nevaeh Eason, Madison Little, Elaina Little and Avery Bryant and several nieces and nephews. Funeral Services will be held on Thursday, April 21, 2022 at 2:00 PM at Galatia Baptist Church in Galatia with Rev. Matt Dupuy and Rev. David Foster officiating with a visitation 1 hour prior to the service at the church. Interment will follow at Davis Family Cemetery.
