Wilson Dale Davis 83, of Gaston died Sunday July 11, 2021. Dale a native of Northampton County he was born on August 6, 1938 to the late Johnnie William and Mary Story Davis. He was also preceded in death by his brothers, William V. Davis and Gerald Story Davis. He was the owner of D&R car center in Murfreesboro in the 1980's and worked for John M. Glover Construction in Pleasant Hill, NC until he retired. He was a member of Galatia Baptist Church. He is survived by his sister, Johnnie Davis "Sally" Bowser of Roanoke Rapids, his stepson, Tommy Swain of Murfreesboro; his very special pet "Nick" whom he loved dearly; several nieces and nephews. Special friends, Sybil Bryant and Anrea Amerson of Gasburg, Va; Clifton and Susan Edwards of Seaboard and all the friends he played cards with, he enjoyed being with them and helping out. Graveside Services will be held Wednesday July 14, 2021 at 11 am in Seaboard Cemetery with Dr. Julian Mills officiating.
