Como NC- William Turner, 76, fondly known as "Blood or Youngblood", passed away at his home at Leisure Shores on November 29, 2025.

William was preceded in death by his parents, Willie and Myrtle and his brother, James, who was killed in action in Vietnam.

He retired from Union Camp where he worked in the Maintenance Department as a Pipefitter. He was a proud United States Air Force Veteran who served during the Vietnam War.

William loved spending time with his family and friends, hunting at Camp PD Hunting Club and loved his two dogs Mojo and Jetta.

He is survived by his wife, Glynda M. Turner; his son William Ray Turner Jr. (Pam); his daughter, Carolyn Elizabeth Burgess (Joe); his brothers, Allen and Willie; his sisters, Annie, Bobbie, Shirley, Virgie and Ellen; his grandchildren, Kody, Laura, Caitlin, Will and Bailey; and his great-grandchildren, Lincoln, Alex and Anne Marie.

A service for immediately family and a celebration of his life will be held at a later date.
