William Nelson Mann, Sr., 82, of Roanoke Rapids, passed away on Thursday October 31, 2024.

He was the son of the late Louis Vivian Mann, Sr. and Ruth Thelma Adams Mann. He was also preceded in death by his two brothers, Louis V. Mann, Jr. and Carroll Mann.

William retired from International Paper in Roanoke Rapids, after 43 and a half years of service as an A Class Mechanic.

He is survived by his wife, Jerry; his daughter, Tammy M. Faulkner and her husband, Michael of Richmond, Va; his son, William Nelson "Will" Mann, Jr., his grandson, Jonathan Wells and Brittany Love; his granddaughter, Abby Faulkner.

A funeral service will be held at 2:00 pm on Monday, November 4, 2024 in the chapel of Askew Funeral and Cremation Services in Roanoke Rapids with Will Mann officiating.

Interment will follow at Cedarwood Cemetery in Roanoke Rapids.

The family will receive friends on Sunday, from 3:00-4:30 PM at the funeral home.
