Weldon "Talley" Lee Jones, 69 of Margarettsville, NC passed away on Saturday, September 25, 2021 at his home. He was born in 1951 in Emporia, VA to the late, Ernie Lee and Ruth Cifers Jones and was preceded in death by his brother, Ernie Jones, Jr. "Talley" loved fishing, hunting and tinkering with things. He is survived by his wife, Nancy Kay Jones; his sisters, Mary Ann Fuller of Emporia, VA and Sally King and her husband, Jerry of Roanoke Rapids, NC; his brother, Sam Jones and his wife, June of Emporia, VA; many nieces and nephews and his Best Friend Nephew, Christopher Williams. Funeral Services will be held on Thursday, September 30, 2021 at 2pm at Elam Baptist Church with Rev. Bill Payne officiating. Interment will follow in Seaboard Cemetery.
