Wayne Maddrey Massey, 66, of Pleasant Hill, NC, passed away on Friday, November 1, 2024.

He was born on March 31, 1958 in Halifax County to the late James R. Massey, Sr. and Junie M. Barnes and was preceded in death by his sister, Catherine Ann Massey.

Wayne is survived by his brother, Jimmy Massey (Janet); his sister Debby Babb (Conrad); his nieces and nephews, Heather Rose (Edwin), Kimberly Babb, Jennifer Williams, Julie Muskalla (Nick), Chelsea Edwards (Branden), Cole Rose, Drew Williams, Emily Williams, Sarah Williams, Matthew Muskalla, Logan Muskalla, Miles Edwards; his aunts, Helen Harris and Pat Maddrey and numerous cousins.

A visitation will be held on Thursday, November 7, 2024 at Askew Funeral and Cremation Services Jackson-Chapel, Jackson, NC, from 6:00-8:00 PM.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Bethel Baptist Church.
