Walter Edwin Meier 79, born in Sioux Falls, SD departed this life on November 12, 2022. 'Walt' Meier, son of the late Harvey & Marion Meier, loving husband of Brenda Shields Meier, he is also survived by two sons, Harvey Meier and Chadwick  Feagan (Cecilia), two daughters, Len Meier and Jill Feagan, his five grandchildren, Hailey, Morgan, Ariana, Nicholas, and Jackson.

Walt worked for 40 years in the telecommunications field in VA & FL.  Resided in Myrtle Beach SC,  member of St. Michaels Catholic Church and a 4 ^th Degree Knights of Columbus. He will be greatly missed by family & friends.

The family will receive friends at Askew Funeral and Cremation Services, 731 Roanoke Ave, Roanoke Rapids, NC on Friday,

November 18th at 12pm, with services 1pm in the Chapel. Father Marlon Mendieta will be officiating. Burial will follow at Cedarwood Cemetery in Roanoke Rapids.
