Tommy Austin Jackson, 82, born October 24, 1938 went to be with the Lord January 9, 2021. Tommy was preceded in death by his parents, Zollie and Ella D. Jones Jackson, his wife of fifty-three years Hattie Bradley Jackson and his grandson Lyle Conn. Tommy served his Country in the United States Airforce. He was a long-time member of First Baptist Church in Roanoke Rapids and was retired from International paper. He is survived by his sons, Edward "Ed" Jackson and his wife Lisa of Roanoke Rapids and Robert Jackson of Greenville; his grandchildren Emily Jackson, Kristopher Jackson and Meghan Conn Bennett and her husband Brent; his great grandson Joseph Carlyle Bennett. Graveside services will be held Wednesday January 13, 2021 at 11 am in Cedarwood Cemetery in Roanoke Rapids with Rev. Dathan Hall officiating.
