Thelma Shearin Morgan 91, of Roanoke Rapids died Thursday August 19, 2021 at her home. She was born October 5, 1929 to the late Norman Walter and Lillian Acree Shearin. She was also preceded in death by her husband Osborn Lee Morgan, Sr.; sisters, Evelyn Dicolegero, Dorothy Davis and her brothers, Winfield and Norman Shearin. Thelma was loved by her Children, grandchildren and she dearly loved her. She was a very active member of Calvary Baptist Church and for many years was active in the American Legion Auxiliary. She is survived by her sons, Joe Wall and Osborn Lee "Ozzie" Morgan, Jr and his wife Debbie both of Roanoke Rapids; her four grand Children Nikki Cocuzza, Kris Wall, Leslie M. Newsome and her husband, Jonathan and Michael Morgan and his wife, Ashley; four great grandchildren Nikka Cocuzza, Myra Wall, Layla Wall, Kenley Carter, Kayla Carter, Colton Newsome and Calum Morgan; two sisters, Hazel Clark of Washington State and Edna Jones and her husband, Bobby of Roanoke Rapids. Funeral Services for Thelma will be held Sunday August 22, 2021 at 3 pm in the Chapel of Askew Funeral and Cremation Services in Roanoke Rapids with Rev. Randy Martin officiating. Burial will follow in Cedarwood Cemetery in Roanoke Rapids. The family will receive friends Sunday from 2 pm until service time. Online condolences may be made to the family at www.askewfs.com
