Terri Marie Cox 58 was born on September 9, 1962 in Roanoke Rapids, NC. Terri lived in Roanoke Rapids and was the daughter of Bobby Cox and the late Vicki Cox. Terri worked in food service for many years, she was loved by her customers and she enjoyed serving others. Some would say she was the best waitress in Roanoke Rapids and her patrons looked forward to seeing her at their favorite restaurants. She loved to cook, especially for family and friends and would not let anyone go hungry. Terri had many friends and never met a stranger. She loved spending time with friends and family and there was never dull moment when she was around. Preceded in death by her mother, Vicki, her sister Sherri and her beloved dog Max. She is survived by her father, Bobby Cox (Joanne), long-time partner Robert "Krow" Taylor, her children David Cox (Lauren), Jessica Haselman (James), her niece Allyssa Murphy and her husband Bryan and their son Liam, her step-son Michael Harrington and sister Melanie Cox. She leaves behind 5 grandchildren, Abigail Cox, Jackson, Joslyn, Joseph, and Judson Haselman, whom she loved very much. A Graveside service will be held Tuesday November 10, 2020 at 2 PM at Cedarwood Cemetery in Roanoke Rapids with Rev. Randy Martin officiating. The Family will receive friends from 12:45-1:45 before the service at the Funeral Home. All guest is asked to Socially distance and wear a mask. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Askew Funeral and Cremation Services for final expenses.
