Ted Murray Woodard went to be with the Lord on April 26, 2022. He was born November 20th, 1935 to Murray Earl Woodard and Christina Liverman Woodard. He spent most of his life on the family farm near Margarettsville in Northampton County. Ted was well loved by family and friends for his kindness, honesty and sense of humor. He was a life long member of Sharon United Methodist Church. A Christian man, Ted led by example. He was employed over 30 years at Hercules, Inc. Ted loved his home, his family and riding his motorcycle. He was preceded in death by his wife of 61 years, Alice Harrell Woodard and his daughter, Carolyn Watson. Survivors are daughters Teresa Montgomery and husband Jeff, Karen Gardner and husband Bobby; six grandchildren John Watson, Ben Watson, Shelley Garriss, Holly Singleton and husband Ralph, Laura Bright and Hunter Bright; three great grandchildren Evi Watson, AJ Watson and Dylan Singleton. Funeral Services will be held on Friday, April 29, 2022 at Sharon United Methodist Church at 2:30 PM in Margaretsville, NC with Pastor Keith Cobb officiating. Burial will follow in Severn Town Cemetery. The Family will receive friends at the church on Friday from 1:30 PM until service time.
