Stancil "Stan" Biscoe Pittman, Jr., 70, passed away on Friday, November 29, 2024.

Stan was the son of the late Stancil Biscoe Pittman, Sr. and Wilma Gray Pittman. He was also preceded in death by a brother, Keith Pittman.

He loved horses, fishing, his donkey, motor cycles and his Shelby Mustang.

Stan is survived by his daughter, Amanda P. Hedgepeth and her husband, Donnie; his son, Justin Pittman and his wife, Jessica, both of Roanoke Rapids; his grandchildren, Brook, Steven "Squirrel" and Nathan Pittman, Gracey, Bella and Sophia Hedgepeth; his brothers, Stevie Pittman and his wife, Debbie of Roanoke Rapids and Eddie Pittman and his wife, Seratha of Halifax; several nieces and nephews, uncles and aunts, Don Gray and his wife, Paula, Gary Gray and his wife, Elaine, Peggy Scales all of Cana, Virginia and Virginia Simicich of Las Vegas, Nevada.

A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, December 3, 2024 at 2:00 PM in the chapel of Askew Funeral and Cremation Services in Roanoke Rapids with Rev. Randy Martin officiating.

Interment will follow at Cedarwood Cemetery in Roanoke Rapids.

The family will receive friends on Tuesday from 1:00 PM until service time at the funeral home.
