Sheila Smith Milan, 75, of Halifax died on Thursday, January 5, 2023.

She was a native of Halifax County and the daughter of the late, Ernest and Mae Belle Smith. Sheila loved to watch her granddaughter's play basketball and soccer.

She is survived by her son, Phillip Milan and her granddaughter's Brittany and Amber of Halifax; her brother, Bobby Smith and his wife, Betty of Sharpsburg.

A funeral service will be held on Sunday, January 8, 2023 at 2:00 PM in the Chapel of Askew Funeral and Cremation Services in Roanoke Rapids, with Rev. Avery Lail officiating.
