Rosa Lee Conner Boulden, 91, passed away on Sunday morning, September 27, 2026 at home.

Rosa was born in Ebony, Virginia on October 11, 1934, the daughter of the late Robert Lee Conner and Mary King Conner. She was preceded in death by her husband of many years, Gerald Boulden, her daughters, Judy Radford, Gertie Lee Moore, and great grandson, Brian Bradley.

Rosa dedicated many years of her life to helping people and being a mother figure to more than those who carried her name, embodying grace and strength in her work. Her commitment and resilience were evident in every aspect of her life.

She is survived by her adoring granddaughters, Tammy Bradley (Dennis), Renee Bradley (Barney), and Tabatha Radford (Mike), as well as bonus granddaughters, Kristy Turner (Eddie), Tammy Ramsey and Melissa Tucker. Rosa also leaves behind her devoted sister, Martha Jordan; her treasured great grandchildren, CJ Bradley, Bubba Bradley, Tommy Bradley (Morgan), Alynn Christopher, and Cailyn Christopher; great-great grandchildren, Kimmie Shea, Hailey, Hudson, and Kohen Bradley; bonus great-great grandchildren, Colson and Jasper Hardy; and special nurse, Sheila Taylor.

Rosa's family will gather to celebrate her life and bid her a loving farewell during funeral services to be held at Askew Funeral and Cremation Services on Thursday, October 1, 2026. A visitation will begin at 12:30 PM followed by a service at 2:00 PM. After the service, she will be laid to rest at 3:00 PM at Crestview Memorial Cemetery, Roanoke Rapids, NC.

Rosa was a beacon of love and support to her family and her memory will forever remain in the hearts of those who knew her. She leaves behind a legacy of compassion, kindness, and unwavering strength. Please join us in honoring her remarkable life.
