Richard Thomas Spradlin, 92 of Conway, North Carolina passed away on Tuesday, April 9, 2024 at his home.

He was born in Betsy Lane Kentucky on August 22, 1931 to the late, Henry Wesley and Nora Hamilton Spradlin, and was preceded in death by his brother, Ray Spradlin.

Richard loved his family, his beloved Roxie and his coffee. He was a member of Potecasi Baptist Church and enjoyed fishing, wood crafting, painting, coin collecting and anything working with his hands.

Richard is survived by his wife of 69 years, Bonnie Wheeler Spradlin;  daughter, Robin Cantrell and her husband George of Oxford, North Carolina; his son, Richard Spradlin, Jr. and his fiancee', Rina of Conway, North Carolina; his grandchildren, Richard Wesley Spradlin, James Thomas Spradlin and his wife Heather, and Robin Spradlin Shaw and her husband, Jonathan; his great grandchildren, James Thomas, Jr. and Aliyah Chennelle; his nephew, Mike Spradlin and niece Lori Spradlin; his sister-in-law, Wanda Spradlin and his extended family.

The family will have a gathering of friends from 4:00 pm until 6:00 pm on Sunday, April 14, 2024 at Askew Funeral Service Jackson Chapel 313 E. Jefferson Street Jackson, North Carolina 27845.
