Richard Andrew Leigh Mayton, III, 35 or Roanoke Rapids, NC passed away on December 4, 2020. He was preceded in death by his maternal grandfather, Carol Gene Murphy. Richard was a jack of all trades and loved working with his hands. Richard is survived by his fiancé, Kristen Reeves; his daughter, Kaitlyn Mayton of the home, his son, Richard Andrew Leigh Mayton, IV; his parents, Richard Andrew Leigh Mayton, Jr. and Elizabeth Ann Murphy Mayton of Roanoke Rapids, NC; his brother Eric Mayton of Roanoke Rapids, NC; paternal Grandparents, Richard Andrew Leigh Mayton, Sr. and Maxine Mayton of Roanoke Rapids, NC; his maternal grandmother, Joyce Maria Murphy of Roanoke Rapids, NC and several nieces and nephews. Funeral Services will be held on Thursday, December 10, 2020 at 11am in the Chapel of Askew Funeral & Cremation Services with Rev. Chris Howerton. Interment will follow in Cedarwood Cemetery in Roanoke Rapids. A Visitation will be held Wednesday, December 9, 2020 from 7:00 until 8:30 P.M. at Askew Funeral & Cremation Services in Roanoke Rapids, NC.
