Peggy Ann Edwards, age 89, went home to be with her Lord and Savior on Friday, May 26, 2023 while residing at Autumn Care of Nash. She was born on August 5, 1933 in Roanoke Rapids and was the daughter of the late Ray Marion Edwards and Sarah Jeanette Wright Edwards.

Peggy was predeceased by her sisters, Nira Wright and Linda Edwards. She is survived by her sister, Claudia Gail Wallace and her brother, Bill Edwards and his wife, Carol and many beloved family and friends.

A graveside service will be held at 2:00 PM on Tuesday, May 30, 2023 at Cedarwood Cemetery in Roanoke Rapids with Pastor Dave Grogan officiating. Visitation with the family will be held at the graveside following the service.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made in Peggy's memory to St. Jude's Children's Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105

Arrangements are being handled by Askew Funeral and Cremation Services in Roanoke Rapids.
