Paul Lane of Roanoke Rapids died Friday August 12, 2022 He was a native of Enfield, NC and was the son of the late Paul Wells and Thadolia Kimbell. He was also preceded in death by a daughter, Paulette Lane and two sisters, Lilla Mae Brown and Lency Jones. Paul was retired from the City of San Francisco as Land Scraper and Gardner. He loved to Garden and was a Mentor to many over his life time. He is survived by his wife of 48 years, Erlinda Lane; his daughters, Joyce Lane of Oakland, California, Primula Diso Lane of Durham and his son Don Lane of Roanoke Rapids; his grandson, Ian Lane and a sister, Doris. A Celebration of Life will be held on Saturday, August 20, 2022 at 11am with Rev. Christopher Haywood officiating.
