Myrtle Elizabeth Davis Draper, 95, of Roanoke Rapids, NC passed away on Monday, July 5, 2021. She was born in Emporia, Virginia on September 21, 1925 to the late, Hilliary and Ophelia Gardner Davis and was preceded in death by her husband, William Thomas Draper; her brothers, Charles Davis and Johnny Davis and her sisters, Verdell Bryan and Hilda Jenkins. Mrs. Myrtle worked for Peebles for many years and was a member of Galatia Baptist Church. Myrtle is survived by her son, Ritchie Draper and his wife, Jan; her granddaughters Judith McKnight and her husband, Matthew and Kelsey Draper; her great-grandchild Taylor McKnight; her brother Kelly Davis and his wife, Reba and many nieces and nephews. Funeral Services will be held on Saturday, July 10, 2021 at 2pm with Rev. Darrel Davis officiating at Galatia Baptist Church in Seaboard, North Carolina Interment will follow in Cedarwood Cemetery in Roanoke Rapids, North Carolina.
