Miriam Gail Knight Giannatasio, 82, of Roanoke Rapids, died Friday, January 6, 2023.

She was born in Halifax County, the daughter of the late Jennings Eskiedge  "Jenks" and Miriam Smith Knight. She was a Registered Nurse and worked with her husband at the farmers exchange in Weldon.

Miriam is survived by her husband, Louis Giannatasio.

There will be a private graveside service at Cedarwood Cemetery in Roanoke Rapids.
