Michelle Lynn Durance Gums, 48 of Littleton, NC passed away on Sunday, July 19, 2020. She was born in Halifax County on August 3, 1971 to her parents Dennis Morgan Durance and Betty Jean Tart Conner. Michelle is survived by her husband, Michael Louis Gums, Jr.; her two daughters Katlyn Gums Wright and her Husband, Ted of Morrisville and Morgan Elizabeth Gums of Hermitage, PA; her son, Michael Louis Gums, III of Littleton, NC; her mother, Betty Conner of Roanoke Rapids, NC and her father, Dennis Durance of Roanoke Rapids, NC; her sisters; Cheryl Clary and husband Roland of Roanoke Rapids, NC; Sharon Jenkins and her husband, Howard, of Roanoke Rapids, NC and Laura Jean Gums and her husband Chris of Roanoke Rapids, NC; her two grandchildren, Briston Clyde Bacon and Mavis Nicole Bacon; her mother-in-law Sally Lynch and her husband Clyde and numerous nieces and nephews and her canines, Harley, Beanie and Midnight. Memorial Services will be held on Thursday, July 23, 2020 at 7pm in the Chapel of Askew Funeral & Cremation Services with Rev. Andy Sloan officiating.
