Michael "Mike" Tromans, 69 of Roanoke Rapids, NC passed away on Tuesday, April 12, 2022 at Vidant Medical Center in Greenville. He was born in Telford, England on May 12, 1952 and was preceded in death by his father, John RoystonTromans. "Mike" worked for W.J. Wray Construction, Collier Harley Davidson and most recently Brooks Cycle Services. He was a lover of many hobbies including riding motorcycles and bicycles and playing his guitar. Mike's grandchildren were his life. He is survived by his wife, Rita Stainback Tromans of the home; his daughters, Amanda T. Bell of Roanoke Rapids, Amy T. Bennett and her husband, Dennis of Roanoke Rapids; his mother, DeRother Boone Tromans of Jackson; his grandchildren, Cheyenne Hester, Madelyn Bell, Kobe Bell, Dracen Bennett, Devin Bennett and Andi Bennett. A Celebration of Life will be held on Friday at 3:00 pm at New Hope United Methodist Church in Roanoke Rapids with Rev. Sue Owens officiating. The family has requested for those attending to dress casual or if you would like please wear your Harley attire. The family will receive friends at the church on Friday from 2:00 pm until service time.
