Michael Allen Taylor, 70, from Enfield NC passed away peacefully on the morning of December 24th 2020 at Trinity Retirement Villa in Nashville NC. Mike was born on 11/11/1950 to Linwood A and Hettie D Taylor; the baby brother to 5 siblings. Mike was very special to his family and spent most of his years alongside his parents. Mike worked most of his life with his Father as a logger until his father's passing and later secured work in a pallet yard in Rocky Mount where he remained employed for many years. Mike spent most of his time with his Mother in his later years as a devoted son who would drive her around on fishing trips and for visits with friends and family on Sunday afternoons. Mike took a lot of pride in being his "mother's helper" and always appeared thankful for that opportunity. Mike found his way with people by always having a good joke or by picking on them in his unique kindhearted way. He was a member of Tabernacle Baptist Church in Enfield NC, where he regularly attended with his family. Mike was preceded in death by his parents; his Brother Earl Taylor; and his Sister Nancy Davis. He is survived by his Brother Donald Taylor; and sisters Viola Roberson and Elaine Dunn. He leaves behind many nieces and nephews. Graveside Services will be held Wednesday December 30, 2020 at 2 P.M. in the Rocky Swamp Primitive Baptist Church Cemetery with Rev. Alvin Davis officiating.
