Mary Louise Hedspeth Pope, 89 of Seaboard, NC passed away on Monday, November 29, 2020. She was born in Northampton County, NC in 1931 to the late Joseph Henry and Sallie Ann Flythe Hedspeth and was preceded in death by her brother, Joseph Fleetwood Hedspeth. Mary was a member of Galatia Baptist Church and lived her childhood life in Conway, NC and her adult life in the Galatia Community. She was a resident of the Northampton Nursing and Rehab facility for the last four years. She was a simple lady, not highly educated and not wealthy, she worked hard all her life, but her richest blessing was having a family she loved and cared for so deeply. She is survived by her son George Pope and his wife Karen of Seaboard, NC and one granddaughter, Courtney Pope Dundlow and her husband, Wesley of Seaboard, NC. Graveside Services will be held on Thursday, at 2:30 pm in The Conway Cemetery in Conway, NC with Rev. Ricky Barnes and Matt Dupuy officiating.
