Margaret Willey Benford, 89 of Roanoke Rapids, NC passed away on Wednesday, April 1, 2020. She was born in Halifax County to the late Henry Benjamin and Elsie Butts Willey and was preceded in death by her husband, Al Benford and her son, Bobby Benford. Margaret is survived by her son, Jerry Benford and her cousins, Ann Smith, Carl M. Willey and Ralph G. Willey, III. and several nieces and nephews. The family will have a private graveside service.
