Lucille Florance Williams Whitby, 92 of Roanoke Rapids, NC passed away on Thursday, March 18, 2021 at Carolina Rest Home. She was born on September 25, 1928 to the late, Claude Delbridge Williams, Sr. and Lucille Collins Williams and was preceded in death by her husband, Harry Telton Whitby. Lucille is survived by her daughter, Sheila W. Godfrey and her husband, Ray of Roanoke Rapids; her two sons, Robert "Bobby" Whitby and his wife Emma of Weldon, Frederick "Freddie" Scott Whitby of Vass, NC; her two grandchildren, Jessica Neathery and her husband, Cliff of Roanoke Rapids, Travis Ray Godfrey and his wife, Caren of Roanoke Rapids; her 5 great children, James "Ryan" Outland, Alyssa Outland, Logan Nethery, Madalyn Godfrey and Connor Godfrey. A memorial service will be held on Monday, March 22, 2021 at 2pm in the Chapel of Askew Funeral & Cremation Services with Dr. Layne Wallace officiating.
