Lloyd Mitchell Rawles Jr., 67 of Edenton, NC passed away on July 9, 2023.

He was born on January 14, 1956 in Leigh Memorial Hospital of Norfolk, VA to his parents Lloyd Mitchell Rawles Sr. and Beatrice Estelle Swain. Mitchell was preceded in death by his parents and his brothers Lonnie Rawles, Lynn Rawles, and Larry Rawles.

He is survived by his daughter Rebekah Rawles Gilbert and her husband Wayne Gilbert; his sons Lloyd Mitchell Rawles III, Lonnie Jason Rawles, and Daniel Justin Rawles; his sisters Robin Bowen, Tina Wright and her husband Kevin Wright, and Rachel Rawles; his brothers Leon Rawles, Lesley Rawles and his wife Michele Rawles, and Lance Rawles; his 4 grandchildren, and numerous nieces and nephews.

Visitation will take place from 10:00 -11:00 prior to the service.   Funeral services will be held on Friday, July 14, 2023 at 11am at Lighthouse of Hope, 1058 HWY 35 N, Woodland, NC.

Mitchell was a devout man of God. He treasured the Lord and and his family above all else. He will be missed by those he knew.
