Linda Sue Floyd Tipton, 70 of Littleton, NC passed away on Monday, December 14, 2020. She was born in April 22, 1950 to the late Early May Floyd and Volinnia Cannon Floyd and was preceded in death by her two brothers, R. T. Floyd and Robert P. Floyd, two sisters, Lula F. Williams and Christine F. Elliott. Linda was a loyal and faithful member of Rosemary United Methodist Church in Roanoke Rapids, NC and was retired from Georgia Pacific as an office Manager. She is survived by her husband, Maurice Tipton, of Littleton, NC; her daughter, Andrea Velvin Turner of Roanoke Rapids, NC; her step-daughter, Sarah Tipton Gaskill and her husband James of Cary, NC; her two sisters, Ann F. Johnson of Canton, NC and Mary F. Dunlow and her husband, Thurman, Sr. of Roanoke Rapids, NC; her brothers, Wilbur W. Floyd and his wife, Ruby of Roanoke Rapids, NC, Richard M. Floyd and his wife Shirley of Roanoke Rapids, NC; her nephews, Chuck "Chuckie" Floyd and his wife Nancy of Roanoke Rapids, NC, Niece, Cindy Robinson and husband Roy of Steadman, NC; her grandchildren, Ashley Storey, Allison Storey, Taylor Storey, Logan Storey, and Ayden Turner; great granddaughter, Chloee Thomas and Several other nieces and nephews. Graveside Services will be held on Thursday, December 17, 2020 at 2pm at Cedarwood Cemetery in Roanoke Rapids, NC with Rev. Steve McElroy officiating.
