Lee Owen Vandeventer, 30 of Roanoke Rapids, NC passed away on Friday, April 8, 2022. He was born in Las Vegas Nevada and was preceded in death by his father, James Owen Vandeventer; his paternal grandparents, Robert and Pat Vandeventer and his maternal grandparents, Calogero and Susie LaSalle. Lee loved his work as a Welder/Fabricator for First Response Rail Service in Skippers, VA. He was a former volunteer fireman for Gaston Fire Department and a fireman for Roanoke Rapids Fire Department. He was an outdoorsman and loved to hunt and fish. He also bowled at Fairwood Lanes in a league. Lee is survived by his mother, Suzanne Vandeventer of Roanoke Rapids, NC; his sister, Danielle Vandeventer of Wilson, NC and his many aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.
