Julian Midgette Gardner, 93 of Weldon passed away on Tuesday, August 4, 2020. He was born in Halifax County, NC to the late George Walter Gardner and Blanche Lee Nethery Gardner and was preceded in death by his wife Inez Willey Gardner in 2019. Julian retired from New Dixie Oil Company where he worked as a Maintenance Supervisor, served on the planning board in Weldon for 26 years, was a member of All Saints Episcopal Church in Roanoke Rapids, NC and was part of the Royal White Hart # 2 Lodge in Halifax, NC. He is survived by his sons, Boyd Gardner and his wife, Kathy, of Tarboro, NC, David Gardner and his wife Melanie, of Fuquay Varina, NC; his three grandchildren, Lindsey Cannady, Case Gardner and Sherry Gardner; his two great-grandchildren, Luke and Chloe Cannady and his sister, Ann Williams and her husband, David of Ahoskie, NC. Graveside Services with Masonic Rites will be held on Thursday, August 6, 2020 at 10 am in Crestview Memorial Cemetery with Rev. Sonny Browne officiating.
