Judy Gray Price Vaughan, 79, of Jackson, NC, passed away on Sunday, June 29, 2025 at ECU Roanoke Chowan Hospital.

She was a native of Northampton County, NC and was born to the late James Lloyd Price and Lucy Beacham Price and was preceded in death by her husband, David Earl Vaughan, her son, David Earl Vaughan, II, and her daughter, Phyllis Vaughan-Clark.

She is survived by her daughter, Cindy Vaughan Hall and her husband, Ronnie of Ahoskie; seven grandchildren, Patrick White and his wife, Kendra, Charles White and his wife, Tommie, Jessica Jones Ausby and her husband Charles, Shannon Williams and her husband, Paul, David Earl Vaughan, III, Chelsie Vaughan and Anthony Clark; seven great-grandchildren and four great great-grandchildren; her brother and sister, Donald Beacham and Betty Hefner; and her sister-in-law, Elizabeth Capp.

Graveside services will be held on Wednesday, July 2, 2025 at 2:00 PM at Jackson Cemetery in Jackson, NC.

The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Wednesday, July 2, 2025 from 12:45 until 1:45 PM at Askew Funeral & Cremation Services – Jackson Chapel in Jackson, NC.
