Joyce Lambert Dickens 72 of Roanoke Rapids died Friday January 1, 2021. A native of Halifax County she was the daughter of the late Wilson Keith and Viola Clary Lambert. She was also preceded in death by her sister, Nancy Woodruff and her brother, Kenny Lambert. She was a graduate of Roanoke Rapids high school. Joyce Loved her grandchildren with all of her heart. She is survived by her husband Tommy Dickens; her son Dennis Dickens and his wife, Michelle of Jackson; her grandchildren Nicholas and Lyndsey Dickens; her special grandchildren Kaysey and Cameron Outland and special niece, Debra Richardson. Funeral Services will be held Tuesday January 5, 2021 at 2:30 pm in the Chapel of Askew Funeral and Cremation Services in Roanoke Rapids with Rev. Sue Owens officiating. Interment will follow at Crestview Memorial Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 1:30 until service time at the Funeral Home. Social distancing and mask are being observed
