Joseph Alan Weaver Sr. of Roanoke Rapids, NC passed away in his home on October 18, 2021 at the age of 62. He was the son of the late Earl Odell Weaver and Martha Williams Weaver, both of Roanoke Rapids; as well as sister Gail W. Fox and brother David E. Weaver. Joe leaves behind his son, Joseph Jr. and wife Meredith of Hendersonville, NC; sister Linda Rainey and Tom of Fairview, NC; niece Jennifer Hudson of Littleton, NC; and great nephew Cody Wood of Littleton; aunt Eunice Powell of Roanoke Rapids; lifelong friends Allan and Debbie Miles and a very special pal Kelton "Stoney" Stone all of Roanoke Rapids; as well as many cousins locally and throughout Tennessee. A jack of all trades, Joe loved tinkering and fixing anything mechanical, wood working and carving, porch sitting with his cat "Babe", fishing, riding his golf car and most of all spending time with those he cared most about. In lieu of sending flowers, the family requests the presence of friends and loved ones to join in a special celebration of life gathering at Jenni's home at 1262 Airlie Rd. Littleton, NC at 4pm Saturday October 23, 2021 in casual attire.
