John Calvin Quarles was a good man. He worked hard for his family and Loved his wife and all six of his children.

He was born in Sandy Level, Virginia on April 11th, 1941 and was raised in Lynchburg, Virginia. He spent his later years living in Roanoke Rapids, North Carolina and retired from Georgia-Pacific in Emporia, Virginia in 2021 where he worked as an electrician for 25 Years.

He died April 21st, 2023 at Warren Hills rest home in Warrenton, North Carolina. He leaves behind his wife of 31 years, Robin Cochran Quarles, and his six children (Jennifer Brown, Steven Braine, Jason Quarles, Rennie Quarles, Zachary Quarles, and Jeremiah Quarles) and ten grandchildren.

He also leaves behind his sister, Anne Cartwright of Fort Worth, Texas and all of her children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren.

John will be remembered and forever missed.
