Jessie Mae Morris Jenkins Jessie Mae Morris Jenkins, 89, of Woodland died Saturday March 14, 2020. Jessie a native of Bertie County was the daughter of the late Julian and Genie Bryant Morris. She was preceded by her husband, James Williams Jenkins and a daughter Aleasa Hope Jenkins. She was a member of Light House of Hope Church in Woodland where Rev. Brian Jenkins will conduct Funeral Services on Monday March 16, 2020 at 2 P.M. She is survived by her daughter, Patricia Jenkins of Woodland. Interment will follow in the Hall Cemetery in Aulander. The family will receive friends from 1 PM until service time at the Church on Monday and other times at the home of Shelton and Marie Jones 112 NC 305 Woodland, NC. Arrangements are being handled by Askew Funeral and Cremation Services, Jackson-Chapel.
