Jennifer Sue Wheeler, 53, went to be with Jesus on Thursday, January 30, 2025. She was preceded in death by her father, Jeff Cabaniss, Sr.

Jen is survived by her loving husband and best friend, Raymond Wheeler, Jr; her children, Katie and James Lassiter, Robert Pallone, Michael Pallone, Devin Pallone, and Elliot Wheeler; and her grandchildren, Aiden, Brinley, Madison Amanda, Madison Grace, Leyla, McKayla, Tyler, Hayleigh, and Elijah. She is also survived by her mother, Kathy Lee and brother, Jeff Cabaniss, Jr. Jennifer also had many aunts, uncles, and cousins to cherish her memory.

Jennifer devoted her life to raising her five children. But her favorite title was "Memaw". She adored her grandchildren and the joy that they brought to her life. She was obsessed with the movie, "A Christmas Story" and would often wear her pink bunny jumpsuit. She loved going to the beach and to Disney World to ride "It's a Small World" over and over again. You could often find her at her kitchen table putting together thousand-piece puzzles. She cherished having her living room filled with friends and family, her children and their friends, and listening to them laugh and joke.

The family will receive friends and family for a Celebration of Life gathering at Askew Funeral Service Jackson-Chapel, Jackson, NC, on Saturday, February 8, 2025 at 12:00 PM.

In lieu of flowers, the family is accepting love, prayers, and lots of support in the following weeks as they navigate this unexpected loss.
