Jane Edwards Holt, 67, of Roanoke Rapids died on Monday March 21, 2022. She was a native of Virginia and was the daughter of the late Milton Jones Edwards and Grace Sykes Edwards. Jane was a member of First Baptist Church and was a retired Registered Nurse. Surviving is her husband, Bobby Holt; her daughter, Leah Holt Pepper and her husband, Brock of Roanoke Rapids and her son Clay Holt of Charlotte; her grandchildren, Lily Kate Pepper, Avery Holt Pepper and Reginald Peyton Pepper; her sisters, Joyce Edwards of Roanoke Rapids, Joan Richardson and her husband, Ray of Elm City, NC, Jean Hux and her husband, Phil of Roanoke Rapids and her brother, Jimmy Edwards and his wife, Betty of Franklinton, Virginia and several nieces and nephews. Funeral Services will be held Thursday, March 24, 2022 at 2:00 pm at First Baptist Church with Rev. Dathan Hall officiating. Interment will follow in Cedarwood Cemetery in Roanoke Rapids. The family will receive friends from 1:00 pm until service time at the Church.
