Jacqueline "Jackie" Bryant Edwards, 81, of Conway, died Saturday May 21, 2022.
Jackie was the daughter of the late Ernest Stanley Bryant and Viola Margaret Bryant. She was also preceded in death her, husband, Rodney Allen Edwards and her brothers, Halstead and Glenn Bryant.
She was a devoted wife, mother and a great mother-in-law. She loved her canine Hazel Ann and having her family all together.
She was born and raised in Murfreesboro and was a member of Meherrin Baptist Church until she married the love of her life, Rodney Allen Edwards on December 18, 1960. After their marriage she joined Galatia Baptist Church and remained there for the rest of her life, where she taught Sunday school and Bible school for many years. She loved to sing in the choir and was very active member of the WMU. She went on a mission trip to Alaska were she loved taking care of the Eskimo babies. She was an active member the Eastern Star and had served as Worthy Matron. For many years she enjoyed grading peanuts.
She is survived by her daughters, Caroline Edwards Davis and her husband, Michael A. Davis of Seaboard and Kim Edwards Warren and her husband, Mike Warren of Pleasant Hill.
Graveside services will be held on Wednesday May 25th 2022 at 11:00 A.M. in the Town of Conway Cemetery with Rev. Jim Cox and Rev. Matthew Dupuy officiating.
The family will receive friends after the service in the fellowship hall at Galatia Baptist Church.
