Herbert LeRoy Stallings, 84, passed away on March 5, 2023. He was born on October 5, 1938 in Halifax County to the late Lavern and Florine Williams Stallings and was preceded in death by his daughter, Amy Elizabeth Stallings, brother, Edwin Stallings, sister, Lydia Hale, and brother in law, Winfield Thomas "WT" Rose.

Herbert's memory will be cherished by his wife of 63 years, Elizabeth Rose Stallings; son, Michael Brent Stallings and wife, Winnie Mc Peace Stallings; grandchildren, Mandy S. Glover, Corey James "CJ" Stallings, Travis Dale Stallings, Trevor Ivan Stallings, and Trenton Alexander Stallings; great-grandchildren, Kristopher Imery Glover, Aniya Michelle Glover, and Noah Gray Stallings; brother, Robert Stallings; sister, Patsy Lucas; brothers in law James Rose, Gurney Rose and wife Shirley Rose, along with several nieces and nephews.

Graveside services will be held at 2:00 PM on Wednesday, March 8, 2023 at Seaboard Cemetery, with Justin Rose officiating.
