Heidi Lynn Stenson May, 42 of Roanoke Rapids, NC passed away on Monday, August 9, 2021. She was born in Roscoe, PA on January 17, 1979 and graduated from California University of Pennsylvania with her degree in education and has taught at Roanoke Rapids High School for many years. She was preceded in death by her first husband Chad Geary. Heidi is survived by her husband, Chris; her daughter, Addison Geary, her son, Austin Geary; her step- son, Ethan May and her step-daughter, Linden May all of the home; her mother and stepfather, Donna and Jack Gates of Roanoke Rapids, NC her Father, Bill Stenson and his wife, Kari of California, PA; her sister, Nikki Snead and her husband, Mark of Roanoke Rapids, NC; her brother Michael Stenson and his wife, Tammy of Farmington, PA; her step-brother, Brent Strother and his wife, Ally of New Salam, PA; her father-in-law and mother-in-law, Bruce and Polly May of Roanoke Rapids, NC; her sisters-in-law, Amy and her husband, Ryan Medlin of Roanoke Rapids, NC, Fran and her husband Matt Garner of Roanoke Rapids, NC and several nieces and nephews. Funeral Services will be held on Thursday, August 12, 2021 at 11am at Good News Baptist Church with Rev. Jimmy King officiating. Interment will follow in Cedarwood cemetery in Roanoke Rapids, NC. The family will receive friends on Wednesday, August 11, 2021 from 7pm until 8:30 pm at Askew Funeral & Cremation Services.
