Gwendolyn "Gwen" Davis Martin, 88, of Rich Square passed away on Sunday, April 27, 2025 with her loving family by her side.

She was a native of Northampton County and was the daughter of the late Joseph Sawyer Davis and Miner Woodard Davis. She was also preceded in death by her husband, Carl Martin.

Gwen was a 1956 graduate of Conway High School and was retired from Mile Craft Textiles after many years as a supervisor.

She is survived by her sisters, Magdeline Edwards of Ahoskie, Betty Lucas of Lasker, her brother, Dean Davis of Jackson and several nieces and nephews.

A graveside service will be held at Cedarlawn Cemetery in Rich Square on Tuesday, April 29, 2025 at 2:00 PM with Rev. John Thompson officiating.
