Gregory "Greg" Lane Copeland 61, died Thursday July 29, 2021. Greg was a native of Murfreesboro and was a graduate of ECU. He was a physical Therapist and worked for many years with North Eastern Carolina Physical Therapy with the home health patients. He loved fishing and tinkering with things. He was preceded in death by his father William Carroll Copeland. Greg is survived by his daughter, Carolyn Copeland of Raleigh; his son Anthony Copeland and his wife, Shelia of Littleton; his granddaughter, Sydney Copeland; his mother Meredith Miller and her husband, Henry of Murfreeboro; his brother W.C. Copeland and his wife Frances of Colerain; his niece Merry Obert and her husband, Neal of Harvest Alabama and his nephew Matt and his wife, Christina of Clayton, North Carolina. A funeral service will be held Monday August 2, 2021 at 2 P.M. in the Chapel of Askew Funeral and Cremation Services in Roanoke Rapids with Rev. John Porter officiating. The family will receive friends after the service at the Funeral Home.
