Grace Casper Woodard, 79, of Jackson passed away on Saturday, July 29, 2023.

She was the daughter of the late Arthur Thomas Casper and Virginia Elizabeth Pierce Casper. She was also preceded in death by her husband, Clifton Lewis "Nut" Woodard and a son, Thomas Ray Woodard.

Mrs. Woodard was a member of East Tenth Street Christian Church where she taught Sunday School for many years and where the kids in her class called her Mama Cupcake.

She is survived by her daughter, Debra Woodard; her grandsons, Brandon Woodard and his wife, Kate, and Dakota Woodard; her granddaughters, Amber Woodard and Autumn Williams and several great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephew.

Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, August 2, 2023 at 11:00 AM at East Tenth Street Christian Church with Rev. Jason Yeatts and Terry Wheeler officiating.

Interment will follow at the Casper Family Cemetery in Garysburg, NC.
