Mr. Gordon Lee Bellflower, Jr. passed away on Saturday, May 22, 2021 at his home. He was born on May 3, 1956 to the late, Marion and Gordon "Jaybird" Bellflower, Sr. and was preceded in death by his sister, Peggy Bellflower, his mother-in-law Marjorie Hunnings; his sister-in-law's, June Abbott and Carolyn Watson and his nephew, Bryce Hunnings. Gordon loved the outdoors, fishing, farming and especially running heavy equipment building ponds and roads. He is survived by his wife, Glena Bellflower, his fur baby and loyal companion, Taz; his sister-in-law, Peggy Hunnings; his brother-in-law, Chip Hunnings; his sisters, Gayle Bellflower and Diana Bellflower; his special Aunt and Uncle Linda and Wallace "Peewee" Kidd; his nephews, Dennis Newsome Brian Watson, Michael Newsome, Jeff Newsome, Sean Watson, Brock Hunnings, Steven Taylor, Scott Gordon, Jeremy Bellflower and John Bellflower; and his nieces, Brooke Hunnings and Holly Yandle. The family would like to thank Ann Sullivan and Karen Lassiter for their support in taking care of our baby Taz. Memorial Services will be held on Wednesday, May 26, 2021 at 2pm with Rev. Jim Cox officiating in the Askew Funeral Service Jackson Chapel in Jackson, North Carolina.
