George Sidney Clay, 61 of Enfield, NC passed away on Tuesday, February 4, 2020. He was born in Halifax County in 1958 to the late George Halley Clay and Edna Earle Thompson Clay and was preceded in death by his brother, Joseph Clay and his sisters, Louise Clay Henry and Dorothy Clay Joyner. Sidney is survived by his son, George Clay of Enfield, NC; his grandchildren, Mason Edward Clay and Rylie Lynn Avery Clay; his sister, Nancy Clay Davis and her husband, Donald of Roanoke Rapids, NC; his brothers, Donald Clay of Enfield, NC and Thomas Clay and his wife, Rita of Roanoke Rapids, NC. Graveside Services will be held on Saturday, February 8, 2020 at 1pm at Elmwood Cemetery, in Enfield, NC with Rev. Susan Joyce officiating.
