Gale Neighbors Bunch, 81, of Roanoke Rapids, passed away on Tuesday, April 8, 2025.

She was the daughter of the late Johnnie Coleman Neighbors and Christine Slaughter Neighbors. She was also preceded in death by her sister, Rebecca Hicks.

Gale was a very active member of Rosemary Baptist Church for over 60 years where she taught Sunday school to children and the adult lady's class and was on various committees over the years. She retired from the State of NC Community Corrections. Gale loved working in her yard, keeping her flowers beautiful and the lawn well-groomed year around.

She is survived by her daughters, Wendy Bunch Turner (John Werner) and Penny Bunch Bateman both of Tyner, NC; her grandson, Daniel Blanks and his fiancé, Marissa; and her two great granddaughters, Parker and Teagan Blanks.

A memorial service to celebrate Gale's life will be held at 2:00 PM on Sunday, April 13, 2025 at Rosemary Baptist Church with Dr. Layne Wallace officiating.

The family will receive friends from 1:00 PM until service time in the church fellowship hall.
