Faye Anderson Davis, 80, of Roanoke Rapids, passed away peacefully at her home on Friday, February 10, 2023 after a long illness.

She was born on June 28, 1942 in Rocky Mount, NC to the late O.L. and Lois G. Anderson.  She was preceded in death by her loving husband, Arthur M. Davis III.

Left to cherish her memory are her daughter, Lois Mizelle (Joyner) Lynch and son in law, Mark Lynch; her sister, Barbara A. Mann of Raleigh, brother, O.L. Anderson, Jr. (Debbie) of Norcross, GA and her cousin, Glenda Jones of Raleigh; her grandchildren, Hillary Gray Joyner, Morgan Davis Joyner, Noah S. Joyner and wife, Taylor and Shane Lynch (Nikita); great grandchildren, Camden Arthur Joyner, Aela Jane Joyner and Baby Boy Wood to be born in June of 2023. Faye was a loving and supportive Mom and Nana, as well as a caring and devoted sister and friend.

Previously, she was a hairdresser for more than 30 years.  She is well known by many as "Miss Faye" from DrugCo.  She was employed there for more than 20 years and thoroughly enjoyed her co-workers, friends, and customers every day.

The family wishes to express deep and sincere appreciation to the Nurses, CNA's and all employees of Community Home Care & Hospice for their compassionate and devoted care.

A Funeral Service will be held on Saturday, February 18, 2023 at 2:00 pm in the Chapel of Askew Funeral and Cremation Services in Roanoke Rapids with Rev. Danny Jones officiating.

The family will receive friends following the service at the Funeral Home.
