Evon Martin Price 72, was born January 19, 1949 in Northampton County NC to the parentage of Henrietta Martin. She was preceded in death by the late Andrew L. Price. Evon goes to join her late siblings Dorothy Williams, Louise Frazier, Lena Mae Bryant and David Williams. She was an active member of House of Prayer #3 located in Halifax, NC She left behind four children: Evon M. Price (Marqueese Taylor) of Weldon, NC, Andrew L. Price Jr. (Mazelle, Teshonda, Andrea) of Whitakers, NC, Dennis C. Price (Troy Price) of Pleasant Hill, NC, Gloria Price Harrison (Mi'ana Harrison) of Gaston, NC, two special nephews, Jeffery Williams (Cassandra) of Garysburg, N.C. and Andre Williams (Kendra) of Charlotte, NC Evon left behind living siblings; Thelma Williams of Pleasant Hill, NC, Carrie Garris of Roanoke Rapids, NC, Hazel Ford (Claude Ford) of Halifax, NC, Robert Williams of Westburg NY, and Willie Martin of Lancaster, CA Evon leaves behind a host of nieces, nephews and grandchildren. Funeral Services will be held on Wednesday, February 17, 2021 at 12 noon in the Chapel of Askew and Cremation Services in Roanoke Rapids with Bishop Russell Harris officiating. Interment will follow at the Price Family Cemetery in Pleasant Hill, NC The family will receive friends from 11 am until service time at the funeral home on Wednesday.
