Eula Kathleen "Bootsie" Stalls 87, of Roanoke Rapids, passed away peacefully, December 25, 2020.at her home surrounded by family . Mrs. Stalls was born May 7th, 1933 in Halifax County to the late Jimmie A Burton and Eula Barrow Burton and was preceded in death by her husband James A Stalls; brother James A Burton; sister, Mary B. Nowell. Kathleen was a long time member of New Testament Christian Church. Kathleen loved listening to Gospel Music. Kathleen is survived by her brother, Bobby A. Burton of Roanoke Rapids. Five Nieces, Betty N. Bridgers, Nancy N. Joyner and her husband Dennis, Jonnie N Miles and her husband Charles, Rhonda N. Turner and her husband "Punk" all of Roanoke Rapids, and Gilda N Fowler and her husband Timmy of Rocky Mount N.C., one nephew, Robbie Nowell and his wife Tammy of Roanoke Rapids, several great nieces and nephews and a very special friend and caregiver, Betty Frazier. Funeral Services will be held 2 pm Tuesday December 29, at New Testament Christian Church with Pastor Daniel West Officiating. The Family will receive friends from 1:00 to 1:45 pm at the church prior to the service. Burial will follow at Cedarwood Cemetery.
